The coastal town of Vilankulo, or Vilanculos, as it is also spelt, is situated in the Inhambane Province of Mozambique. Vilankulo is Mozambique's main holiday destination, and the gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago. During peak seasons it is overrun with 4x4's, but out of season it is a very quiet town.
