The tank fill-up is the simplest rental car upsell. The agent offers to include the cost of a tank of gas in your rental agreement, so you don't have to worry about stopping by a gas station before you drop off the car. The price quoted is almost always more expensive than the cost of simply filling the tank yourself, however. It's not worth it.

CAN I RENT A CAR WITHOUT A CREDIT CARD OR USE A DEBIT CARD TO PICK UP MY CAR RENTAL?
Africabooking.co.za accepts both credit and debit cards as payment methods for your prepaid reservation rate. However, most car rental suppliers require a valid credit card in the primary drivers name in order to pick up a rental vehicle. In the event the supplier does accept debit cards the rental would be treated as a cash rental.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY RENTAL?
Africabooking gladly accepts American Express, Mastercard, M-pesa,Visa and bank transfers. Personal Checks are also accepted.
IS THERE A FEE IF I NEED TO CHANGE MY RESERVATION?
There is no fee to change a car rental booking provided that you contact Africabooking before the end of the rental period. All changes must be processed by Africabooking and not through our local car rental suppliers/affiliates. Changing a reservation may subject you to the current rental rate, as it is at the time of modification.
WHAT IF I FIND A BETTER RATE FOR A RENTAL CAR?
One of the many great things about Africa booking is our rental rates and services are guaranteed to be the very best in the industry. If you come across a lower price from a competitor and the rate is on a comparable vehicle including the same terms, locations, and rental car fees we will be glad to beat the price for you. WHAT IS THE AFRICA-BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY?
So long as a cancellation is made at least 48 hours before your reserved pick up date and time, Auto Europe will issue a full refund for the amount of your booking. A fee of $35 will apply to any cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice. Bookings are non-refundable if no notice of cancellation is given until after the reserved pick up date/time. All cancellations must be processed by Africabooking, not our local car rental suppliers/affiliates.
WHAT DO I NEED TO PICK-UP MY CAR?
To pick up your rental you will need a reservation voucher from Africabooking.co.za. A reservation voucher contains specific information needed by the car rental supplier at time of pick up. Reservation vouchers will be either faxed or emailed to you immediately once payment is applied to the reservation. Reservations made online can be mailed to you upon request. WILL I NEED AN INTERNATIONAL DRIVERS LICENSE TO DRIVE IN SOUTHERN AFRICA?
An international drivers license is required in several African countries and is strongly recommended if you are planning to travel to a country where English is not the dominant language.
