A much needed get-away
we found this place by chance and it was great, they have great campsite, great facilities and super friendly owner, Ken was great fun and we really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, met tons of people and had great fun, really enjoyed the honesty bar system, if you are looking for a great place to stay and like to meet people, go fishing with the natives in the fish pens ( ask pilani he works at the lodge)or go at the beach ( 2 kms walk) , we did lots of 4x4 in the sandy trails close to the lodge, went for a day visit at Tembe Park and you are only 1 km away from the Mozambique border.
Ken has chalets and tents to rent as well but we preferred the camping as we met so many other travellers it was really fun.
the staff are all really nice, if you are looking for a relaxing and quaint place to unwind then this is the place, if you are looking for a full service hotel go somewhere else.
