Lukimbi Safari Lodge is one of only 7 private concessions in the Kruger National Park, South Africa. Experience a unique private safari in this vast protected reserve where the Big Five and a wide variety of other animals and birds roam free in their natural habitat.

The lodge has recently been refurbished and a lovely indoor-outdoor gazebo was added. This is a great chill out area for relaxing and enjoying the view on 3 sides. In fact, there are many areas to relax and unwind while in the luxury lodge, including the pool area, fire-pit, gazebo and at the fully stocked bar.

All the comfortable bedrooms have their own porch or deck with a view over the lodge gardens or bush, depending on the room, and wifi is available in all rooms and entertainment areas. All 16 Suites (14 Classic Suites and 2 Premier Suites) flank the Lwakahle River and have their own private views of the bush. We planned them carefully to allow for privacy, whether you are travelling as a family, a group of friends, a couple, or on your own.

Lukimbi has a character of its own – warm, inviting, charmingly imperfect and a little quirky too. Bright and richly textured natural fabrics, bold furniture chosen for comfort and artisanal crafted artworks encourage proper relaxation where you’re invited to make yourself completely at home – be that in the lounge, the bar, the dining room or one of the relaxation alcoves on the upper or lower deck, or in the library.

The pool area is a place of serenity, right on the bank of the Lwakahle River. It includes multi-leveled relaxation decks, with a pool overlooking the river. A children’s paddle pool is close by.

Idube is situated in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, adjoining the Kruger National Park in South Africa. This world renowned reserve is known for conservation efforts, particularly in protecting rhino.

Terms and Conditions

The rates include: Luxury accommodation in en-suite, air-conditioned suites, 3 full meals per day, all teas and coffees, 2 safaris daily in open game vehicles and a safari walk (Note: walk is subject to a minimum 2 night stay).
Safari activities are with qualified and well-trained Guides and Trackers.
Arrivals are from 13h00 but ideally no later than 15h00.
Departures after morning safari and breakfast at 10h30.

The rates exclude: Transfers, Kruger Park entrance fees, bar bill, soft drinks, curios, spa treatments, items of a personal nature and gratuities.

Transfer rates to/from Kruger Mpumalanga airport/ Skukuza Airport & Idube are available on request. Please take note of Kruger Park gate opening/closing times.
