Set in the Karoo, within the private Mont Eco Game Reserve reserve, this 14 bedded lodge is situated along the tree line of a riverbed and protected by the surrounding mountains. The lodge is an eclectic celebration of the romance of Colonial Africa Lodge with a modern twist, and stylishly enhanced by the brilliance of chandeliers and silver. Elements of the traditional Lowveld lodge is evident in the viewing and pool decks and dinner boma, the detailing of which showcases the natural rock materials from the Karoo. Balinesian accents play off against Central African dome elements found in original African tribal dwellings. The Island-style lodgings are unexpected and complement the tree line along which they are situated. The gardens are Karoo gardens.

ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATION
Invite yourself to an experience of a lifetime in one of Mont Eco's beautifully appointed private suites, carefully spaced in the tree line of a Karoo river bed. Its open wood and glass modern design brings the green calmness of the forested outdoor into a space rich in texture and opulance, softened by the romance of white bed curtains and linens. Its acce ts are distinctly lodge bushveld but the feel is light and welcoming. Sleep in a comfortable extra length bed with 100 percent cotton percale white linen; enjoy the lounge sitting area in front of the fire in the cooler evenings or sit on the deck in a hanging chair amongst the trees. A dining area and kitchenette offer space to enjoy coffee, teas and wines or even indoor dining by arrangement with our resident chef. Lie back and relax with a glass of wine and a book in an exquisite candlelit bath enfolded in a basket weave dome, complete with candlelight, bubbles and bathsalts.

Game drives take place twice daily, just after twilight and again into the afternoon Sundown drinks are enjoyed in the bush before returning to the lodge for a traditional African dinner.

COVID-19
Reservations cancelled for a legitimate COVID-19 or other Force Majeure related reason up to 14 days before arrival will be refunded at 100% of the total reservation value, with the following provisos:
Reservations already paid for will incur a 10% fee of the amount already paid to cover credit card/bank fees.
Written evidence to support the legitimacy of a guest’s reason for cancellation or postponement must be provided. Cancellation for any non-COVID-19 or other Force Majeure related reason will be processed in accordance with Mont Eco Game Lodge lodge Standard Policy.
