Wind and the rain lodge is a self-catering lodge located in Nyanga. The lodge is located a short distance from Troutbeck resort and it sits on a convenient site with great mountain views and is close to three small dams. The lodge comprises two self-contained cottages that share garden space. Each cottage can accommodate up to six guests in three bedrooms. Room configurations are as follows

There is a dining room with a 6-seater dining table, a bar, as well as a large lounge, which has a fireplace plus a 32-inch television set that is satellite enabled.

The cottage lights are solar powered and there is a boiler to ensure guests have hot water.
There is a cleaners who come and clean every day and is available to answer questions that Guests might have.

Recreational activities for guests include hiking, mountain biking, trout fishing, nature walks and a drive up to Troutbeck is also another option.

Mountain biking on the farm with excellent terrain including perimeter fire break (bring your own bikes).

Pets are permitted (but note the cottages are not fenced)

Mt Nyangani, Zimbabwe’s highest mountain, dominates the horizon. This was taken from the same spot as the starscape but facing further south. The weather was not as warm as it looks.
This gigantic mountain stretches up to 2592m in height, its peak is a 1-3 hour climb trekking from any of the 4 base-entry points for anyone of average fitness. One of the things you will find true about it, is the promise of a challenging climb to remember to for mountain hikers and bikers. Mt. Nyangani’s vegetation is composed of heath covering its summit plateau, a dense grassland on the western side and an ever-green forest along the damper eastern slopes.Mount Nyangani is about 110 km north west Mutare.

The SkyWalk is truly unique, a first for Zimbabwe and the world. The 2 suspension bridges are designed to look like vines above the falls allowing for the first time a full panoramic view of the Mutarazi Falls and its surroundings. The SkyWalk consists of two bridges – the one 30m that take you over the lip of the Falls and the other 90m that is above the entire Falls. If you ever dreamed of walking in midair then this is for you. Activity takes roughly 10 minutes. This is an activity offered by Far and Wide and the activity site is 12km from our property.
