Enjoy an exhilarating cruise aboard one of our exquisite spacious yachts LaraBella 55ft and Ocean Rhythm 44ft.. All our catamaran cruises depart from the Jetty at Sirocco restaurant on Thesen Island where you are welcomed by your captain and crew. We then venture out for a magical sail on the Knysna Lagoon, navigate the famous Knysna Heads and then head out to sea (weather permitting), to explore the spectacular marine and bird life of the Indian Ocean. Being joined by pods of dolphins, or a friendly seal is a magnificent experience.

Bella Vita Leisure Lagoon Boat Cruises
The ideal view to see the iconic Knysna Heads, experience the Knysna lagoon, and see the beaches and bays on the way. Sit back and relax aboard our stylish lagoon cruiser Bella Vita and enjoy the sunshine. Delicious snacks, drinks and oysters are available on pre-order. You will be mesmerised by the exquisite views of the lagoon framed by our beautiful town and the Outeniqua mountains as a backdrop. We often see a playful seal or interesting birdlife along the way, or be adventurous and take a swim in the clear water. You are welcome to bring your own music we have a sound system onboard.
We depart daily, every 2 hours from Sirocco restaurant on Thesen Island, bookings are essential.
You can book per person, or hire the boat exclusively for the ultimate function, or celebration.

WHAT TO BRING
Remember to bring your camera, hat, sunscreen, binoculars and something warm, as it can get cooler on the water than on land, especially during the late afternoons.
Please bring your own beach towel, should you want to swim.
We don’t allow shoes on board. We will keep these safe for you during your journey in our onboard storage. Please bring some cozy socks along in the chillier winter months.
We have a toilet onboard, but please try to use the bathrooms on Thesen Island before you board.
No smoking on board please.

Throughout the year a host of wonderful marine and bird life is encountered in our bay.
At the mouth of the Keurbooms River, you will find one of the largest seagull breeding colonies along the South African coast at the mouth of the Keurbooms River.
There are many other pelagic birds in the area as well as the endangered African oystercatcher which live along the shores.
We are not a permitted whale watching vessel but our bay is so full of surprises and we are often amazed by the wonderful sightings that include whales, dolphins, marlin, sunfish, sharks and even the cape clawless otter.

SUNSET DESCRIPTION
Your cruise departs from the Sirocco jetty in Knysna. You are welcomed on board with a complimentary glass of bubbly. We then venture out for a magical sail on the Knysna Lagoon, navigate the famous Knysna Heads and explore the spectacular scenery and marine and bird life of the Indian Ocean. On our return, we enjoy delicious snacks and sundowners.

CANCELATION POLICY
Please be on time. We cannot wait for guests that are late. We depart strictly as per the departure times. You will be left behind, and your deposit will be lost should you be late. Thesen island offers plenty of entertainment and history. It is well worth arriving a little earlier and taking a leisurely stroll around the island.
